Mats Hummels could snub Liverpool and Manchester United in favour of a move to Bayern Munich, according to his father. The defender has already admitted he could leave Borussia Dortmund this season after seven years at the German club.
Both Liverpool and Manchester United are very keen on the 27-year-old, while Arsenal are monitoring the situation too.
However the Germany international’s father, Hermann Hummels, has now revealed his son could join Dortmund’s rivals Bayern Munich.
“Mats Hummels is facing a tremendously important decision in his career, in his life,” he told Bild. “Dortmund is back among the top clubs in Europe, so the decision is so hard for him.
“If he should leave Dortmund, then he goes to one of the five or six top clubs. And to these clubs one is of course FC Bayern.”
