Beyoncé is the queen of surprise and she always capitalize on it. While the lot of us were asleep on Saturday at 9pm EST Queen Bey broadcasted ‘Lemonade’ for an hour on the cable channel HBO after which the video album was exclusively available on Tidal, Jay’s streaming service.

Beyonce spilled a lot of beans in the songs as she addressed long-peddled rumors about trouble in her paradise with JayZ. The latter has been said to be unfaithful to Queen Bey. Cheating on her with the likes of Rita Ora and Rihanna.

It was rumored Solange’s fight in an elevator with JayZ last year was because she caught him in the act.

The lyrics which directly calls out JayZ’s cheating and lies also finds Beyonce deciding to reconcile with her man and continue in the marriage.

Beyonce teased her fans with a promotional snippet of the video earlier this week. She said in the intro: “The past and the present merge to meet us here. What are you hiding? Why can’t you see me? You’re the love of my life”.

Beyonce’s titles stated the various grieving process stages such as anger, denial and forgiveness.

The 34-year-old dropped “Lemonade” onto the Tidal streaming service and the video featured appearances by mothers of two black men who were victims of police racial brutality.

The victims Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin were black shooting victims. Brown was shot by a Missouri police officer. Both deaths had caused a spotlight on U.S. racial tensions.

Some fans on social media are already speculating with references from Beyonce’s song that she’ll be dropping an album and a divorce in her new video.

Mrs Carter previewed work from the new album first at the Super Bowl appearance this year when she debuted her single, “Formation”.

Beyoncé used the SuperBowl performance to gauge how the album would be accepted. Her song and video for ‘Formation’ sparked controversy with activists saying Bey was promoting violence against the police.

Beyonce’s last album in 2013 was also a surprise. She’ll be kick starting her tour next week with a debut performance in Miami.
