On the first of April 2016, the fashion world got hit with an unknown collaboration between the CEO & Co-founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg & fashion retail giant H&M. The assumed collaboration was released on markforhm.com and the collection named “One less thing to think about in the morning”.
Naturally, everyone bought into the idea but it turned out to be the one of the best April fools’ day prank. The joke created by Matvey Choudnovsky and Kolya Fabrika was so real, they created a full capsule limited edition collection of a pack of seven grey t’shirts and a pair of jeans.
This is what the pranksters had to say about the collaboration:
ABOUT MARK ZUCKERBERG × ███
███ is proud to announce a new long-term partnership with internet entrepreneur, philanthropist, CEO and Co-Founder of Facebook — Mark Zuckerberg. To celebrate the collaboration of Mark Zuckerberg and ███, we launch a limited capsule collection of re-issued iconic pieces from ███ basics.
This new gender-neutral minimalistic range was inspired by Mark’s beliefs that making even the easiest decisions (like what to wear or what to eat for breakfast) consumes mental energy and gets in the way of doing more important things. That’s why we named this collection “One less thing to think about in a morning”.
Available from May 1, 2016 in around 250 stores worldwide and online.
Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
Mark’s grey Tshirt has gotten a lot of people wondering why he is always seen in the same shirt and he explained it helps him make less decisions. If you are looking for a way to reduce the time you spend on deciding what to wear this will be a perfect collection for you.
Would you rock the collection if it were officially released? Do you see yourself rocking grey and blue everyday?
Take a look at Mark in his wardrobe staple of grey T-shirt and blue jeans, would you rock it just as the billionaire does every day?
