Crystal Palace winger Dwight Gayle has agreed a new contract to remain at the club until 2019, according to manager Alan Pardew.
Gayle had been heavily linked away from the club during the past two transfer windows after struggling for game-time.
Negotiations surrounding the forward’s deal, which expires in 2017, had been ongoing but a two-year extension to his current deal looks set to be signed.
“I believe (Gayle’s) contract is agreed,” said Pardew. “If it’s signed, I’m not 100 per cent sure.
“He’s a player that scores goals and we’ve missed him for long periods this season.”
