Real Madrid will bring Alvaro Morata back from Juventus but there is no guarantee over his role at the Bernabeu, according to Guillem Balague.
The 23-year-old Madrid product has developed into one of Europe’s greatest young strikers after flying the nest and moving to Turin in 2014.
“Everybody expects Real Madrid to pay the 30million euros needed to bring Morata back to Madrid,” Balague said.
“However, because Real Madrid are unsure over the shape of their team going forward due to the transfer ban and the recycling they are planning, there is no guarantee that Morata will stay at the Bernabeu or be sold on.
“What’s interesting is that Morata’s priority is to remain at Juventus having had the experience he has had at Madrid previously.”
