Two brothers identified as suspects of Brussels attacks – Police have identified two brothers as suspects in the explosions that occurred in Brussels on Tuesday morning.
Federal prosecutors named Brahim el-Bakraoui as the terrorist who attacked the Zaventem airport, while Khalid el-Bakraoui was named responsible for the attacks at the Maelbeek metro.
Both brothers are Belgium nationals, and are now wanted for the attacks which left 31 dead and over 300 injured. According to Federal Prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw, police had knowledge of the two brothers and had their criminal records.
Brahim el-Bakraoui and 2 other terrorists were identified through CCTV images at the airport, one of whom is dead and the other on the run.
