T.B. Joshua saves Libyan deportees – 39 Nigerians deported from Libya have expressed their profound gratitude to Pastor T.B. Joshua after he helped them out.
The 39 Nigerians were among a group of over 170 Nigerians who were rescued from incarceration in the North African nation by the International Organization of Migration.
The deportees were however provided with only N6,500 on their arrival in Lagos, forcing the 39 to seek out the Pastor for more support.
“Frustrated, angry and despondent, a group of them decided to seek refuge at The SCOAN, having watched Emmanuel TV in Libya,” the church said.
“Upon learning of their arrival in the church, Prophet T.B. Joshua immediately sent evangelists to provide food, alongside medical aid to some of the most malnourished in their midst,” it continued.
Joshua provided the men with N100,000 each, toiletries and brand new clothing, and they profusely showed their thanks.
“If not for a man like T.B. Joshua, most of us would have ended up going into armed robbery, kidnapping or even joining a group like Boko Haram,” one of the deportees, Godspower Chibuike said as he appreciated Joshua for the gift.
