Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest dies at 45 – Rapper Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor of A Tribe Called Quest has passed on after a prolonged illness.
Taylor died at the young age of 45, and had been battling a number of health issues including diabetes I, which he developed at the age of 16.
Taylor, alongside MC/producer Q-Tip and DJ/producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad formed A Tribe Called Quest in 1985, and went on to become one of the greatest hip hop groups ever.
Tributes have been pouring for the late rapper on social media, with both fans and artistes paying their respects.
