Liverpool will face stiff competition from Fenerbahce for the signature of Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli, reports Turkish newspaper Sozcu.
Feghouli, who has been at Valencia since 2010, is out of contract at the end of the season and several clubs are keen to secure his services. AS reports that Liverpool and Inter Milan are on his trail, but Fenerbahce are currently leading the chase to land the 26-year-old.
According to Sozcu, Fenerbahce have already contacted Feghouli’s agent and they are trying to persuade him to sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of a summer transfer.
Fenerbahce failed with a move for Feghouli during the January transfer window and they want him to replace on-loan winger Lazar Markovic, who will return to parent club Liverpool in the summer.
