Grisly images have surfaced online on how the Fulani herdsmen wreck monumental mayhem on the citizenry of the Riverine Abugbe community of Agatu, Benue state.
It will be recalled, no fewer than 300 persons were confirmed dead in the carnage following a siege by Fulani herdsmen, who claimed that over 10,000 cattle were allegedly killed by people of the area.
Villages were reportedly razed as decomposing bodies of those killed were seen littering the communities.
See more photos below:Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Solomon Arase, held a closed doors meeting with top government functionaries of the state, chiefs and stakeholders from Agatu and Fulani leaders in both Benue and Nasarawa state.
The meeting which was held in Makurdi on Friday, was aimed at tackling issues between the cattle breeders and the residents of the region.
