Batman Vs Superman wins at Box Office – A hoard of bad reviews has not stopped DC’s Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice from recording huge success at the Box Office.
The Zack Snyder-directed superhero-showdown made a massive $421.4 million worldwide, the fourth-biggest global opening ever.
The movie was previously scheduled to release in May, but was moved up to avoid competition with Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, a decision which has clearly worked out well for them.
“Fans around the world have embraced the movie,” said Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros. distribution executive vice president. “The beauty of moving our date is that strategically it allowed us to open up around the world at the same time and in a time frame where there’s not a lot of competition.”
