Chelsea’s former physiotherapist, Eva Carneiro would love a public apology from Mourinho.
Carneiro has taken a legal action against her former employers for constructive dismissal and was at a tribunal today, should no agreement be made between both parties, a public hearing will be slated for later in the year.
Carneiro’s barrister, Mary O’Rourke QC, told ITV: “We’re not expecting a resolution today. The two sides are so far apart financially. And we want Mr Mourinho to make a public apology.”
Mourinho called Eva Carneiro naive and publicly criticised her for running on to the pitch to attend to Hazard in the draw against Swansea on opening day.
She was then stripped of her first-team duties before leaving the club in September.
In September, the Football Association confirmed that Mourinho would face no charges over his comments towards Carneiro.
