Buhari Appoints Ex-Deputy Governor, Orelope-Adefulire As Special Assistant On SDGs

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a former deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire as his Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This is contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.

The statement averred that Orelope-Adefulire, who served as a deputy governor of Lagos State in the last administration, is an accomplished politician with many years of experience in public service.

She also served as a commissioner for women affairs and poverty alleviation in Lagos state.
