Following his sudden rise to fame, there are indications that multiple award-winning Ghanaian teen, Abraham Nii Attah, may have said he will not feature in any local movie, as reports have emerged that he said he has outshone the level of Ghallywood.
According to a local media house in Ghana, Ghanaweb, the 14-year-old teenager, who won the Marcello Mastroianni’s Best Young Actor Award at the 2015 Venice Film Festival last Saturday for his lead role in “Beasts of No Nation,” allegedly said in an interview with Hitz Fm as soon as he touched base at the Kotoka International Airport, on Friday morning that ‘Hollywood is more fun’.
Abraham stated among other things that he is not going to do any local movie — when he was asked by Ibrahim Ben Bako if he was considering working in Ghana’s Movie Industry.
He said: “I’m not going to do any local movie, I will stay with Hollywood, I think it’s fun”.
Speaking on his relocation, his manager confirmed that Abraham will be relocating to the States.
He said, “Abraham is relocating to the States. He is going to school over there and this initiative is by Netflix. Netflix has sponsored everything, Abraham now belongs to them,” he ended.
Abraham arrived in Ghana Friday morning and was hosted by the Vice President of Ghana.
