The Nigerian Army has declared that it has increased the cash reward promised to anyone with useful information that would help in the rescue of its abducted officer, Colonel Samaila Inusa from N500,000 to N1 million.
This disclosure is contained in a statement issued on Monday by spokesman of the Army 1 Division, Kaduna, Col. Abdul Usman.

According to the military, the cash reward was increased to boost the morale of the public in other to help in the rescue mission of the abducted officer.
The military urged the public to call the following numbers: 08033865572, 08030489203, 088023445961, 07038025282, 08058130703 or contact the Army or security agencies with useful information that could lead to the release of the officer.
Usman added that the Army would give adequate protection to anyone with relevant information and promised to treat such information with utmost confidentiality.
On Sunday, the Nigerian Army had in a statement, confirmed the abduction of its serving senior officer, Col. Samaila Inusa in Kaduna.
The statement said that Inusa, who was a serving officer at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry in Jaji, Kaduna State was kidnapped along Kamazo in Chikkun Local Government Area near NNPC junction of the State.
The Army which had earlier promised a N500,000 cash reward for anyone with useful information raised the reward to N1m on Monday morning.
