Sevilla defender Adil Rami has advised his team-mate Kevin Gameiro to stay at the club amid interest from Barcelona.
Reports from Spain earlier this week claimed that Barca have lined up a move for France striker Gameiro as Luis Enrique looks for someone to provide back-up for his ‘MSN’ front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
Rami is a big fan of the former PSG forward but says he should stay where he is if he wants regular first-team football.
“We know that Kevin is very important for Sevilla and I think he could be just as important at any important team that wants him,” he is quoted as saying in Mundo Deportivo
“But he has to stay because over there, [at Barcelona], they have the MSN, who never rotate. If he wants to play, he has to stay here.”
