Boko Haram attacks Mussa Village – At least 15 people have been reported dead after Boko Haram attacked the village of Mussa in Borno state.
The attack took place on Monday evening, with the terrorists storming the village located in the Askira/Uba Local Government Area and throwing explosives at people.
At least 15 people were said to have been killed in the attacks, including 4 members of the local vigilante group.
“It was around 8pm last night when Boko Haram attacked us. We engaged them but later they started throwing explosives at civilians and our members,” a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force said.
“They killed nine people including three children and scores were wounded.” He added after Boko Haram ransacked the village, they looted foodstuffs and livestock from the area.
“It is just unfortunate that our people have started coming ahead of rain season these bad people came and attacked us again.”
