In accordance with muslim law, Yoruba actor, Sikiru Adesina popularly known as Arakangudu who passed away, Tuesday, in Kaduna following a heart attack is to be buried today, Wednesday.
Arakangudu should have been buried yesterday but the ten-hour journey of transporting his corpse means his remains will arrive at his home town, Osogbo, Ogun State, where he is to be buried on Wednesday morning.

Veteran thespian, Chief Jimoh Aliu, confirmed news of the late actor’s death to The Punch while speaking from his hometown in Ekiti State, “I was called by those who were with him. They told me that he died after making a noise from his sleep. They told me he died early this morning.”
Arakangudu is said to be have been shuttling between Osogbo and Kaduna where he was shooting a movie before his passing.
Other colleagues of his speaking on his death had this to say:
Veteran Actor, Jide Kosoko, “It was a long time I saw him before this incident. He played his part and contributed to the Nigerian theatre industry.”
Comedian, Bolaji Amusan also known as Mr Latin, said Toyin Adegbola, aka Asewo to re mecca was the one who informed him at 5am this morning of Arakangudu’s demise.
He stated, “He was a talented actor and a wonderful person. Like him, I belong to Osun Arts Council since I am from Osun State. He spoke Hausa fluently because he lived in the North. I am in touch with Toyin and Antar Laniyan to monitor the movement of the remains of Arakangudu to Osogbo from Kaduna. He would have been buried immediately but for the 10-hour journey of moving his corpse by road. He would be buried 10am on Wednesday (today).”
