The Eagles face Egypt in a Nations Cup qualifier a month from now, and Oliseh stated that he had not been able to watch most of his Europe-based players because of lack of funds.

The former Eagles captain also accused the NFF of a lack of support, claiming he had requested for videos on the Egypt team over 8 months ago, but nothing had gotten back to him.

On a lighter note, Oliseh reminisced about the successful Atlanta ’96 campaign, and spoke about his best moments with then teammate Emmanuel Amuneke, who was also present at the event.
