Liverpool fans protest price hike – The first ever walk-out in Liverpool’s history at Anfield took place during the club’s 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

The walk out was in protest of a price hike in the club’s newly redeveloped main stand, with tickets costing as much as £77 (N22,210) from next season.

A number of the club’s supporters staged left the game in the 77th minute, after displaying posters protesting the hike.

The walk-out proved to be bad luck for the Reds, as they blew a 2-goal lead to end the match in a draw.
