Napoli Fans Show Support For Kalidou Koulibaly

Napoli fans donned masks of Kalidou Koulibaly and held up pictures of the defender after he was racially abused by Lazio fans in their previous fixture.

Napoli played against Lazio in the midweek and play was stopped for a few minutes in the second half, after a section of the Lazio fans racially abused the defender.

Napoli went on to record a 2-0 win over the club, but supporters’ group Quelli del Sangue Azzurro were keen to show their support for the Senegalese centre-back in Sunday’s match against Carpi.

Thus, the Stadio San Paolo was awash with pictures of Koulibaly proudly held aloft by the club’s fans ahead of kick-off as fans stood united against racism in the Italian game.
