Darmian Forced Off With Shoulder Injury

Manchester United continued to suffer defensive injuries, as Matteo Darmian was forced off with a shoulder injury against Sunderland.

Darmian clashed with Khazri and was forced off in the first half, with Donald Love making his debut off the bench.

Love, only had a taste of senior football while on loan at Wigan, but was pushed into action immediately.

Luke Shaw broke his leg against PSV Eindhoven in September, while the likes of Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Guillermo Varela are currently unavailable.

Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, who have both filled in at full-back in recent seasons, are also sidelined with pelvis and ankle injuries, respectively.
