A trio of women have engaged in the act of ‘harvesting sperm’ by raping men. These ‘sperm harvesters’ are thought to use the stolen semen for witchcraft.
Zimbabwean officials report, “The women were driving a white Toyota Cresta, and offered a lift to a male hitchhiker along a major road in the city of Bulawayo, in the country’s southwest. But partway through the journey the women attacked him – forcing him to have sex with them and making off with his semen”.
Spokesman for Bulawayo Police, Precious Simango confirmed to The Chronicle, ‘the man was picked up at an illegal hiking point on 6th Avenue in the city’.
Bulawayo has been struggling with illegal sperm collectors. It’s likely there are legal sperm collectors. The town reported a dozen of similar cases in 2010 and 2011. These assaults are proof of an increase in ‘demand for semen for ritual purposes’.
Simango said: ‘Their victim was travelling to Cowdray Park and while on the way they changed the route prompting him to inquire where they were taking him. They told him they were taking a short cut. One of the women used a condom while the others had sex with him without protection. They then took away his semen before dumping him’.
They purportedly parked in a semi-rural area where they took turns to sexually assault him.
Three sisters and one of their boyfriends were also charged for attacking male hitchhikers and harvesting their semen for rituals in November 2011. They were captured after they had been involved in a car accident, Thirty-one used condoms were also recovered in the boot of their car.
Reports stated, “victims of the freeway femme fatales are drugged or subdued at gun or knife-point – one man was even forced to perform at ‘snake-point’ when his rapists brandished a live snake. The male victims are then given a sexual stimulant and forced to have sex repeatedly before being dumped on the side of the road”.
Although the inspector had no explanation as to why the women were harvesting semen, the past cases in Bulawayo is believed to be related. The charges against them include aggravated sexual assault.
