Zidane Will Stick With Ronaldo For Freekicks

New Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has stated he will not be relieving Ronaldo of his freekick duties.

Ronaldo has not been impressive with his freekicks this season, scoring just once so far and in the champions league.

Last season, the Portuguese recorded a laughable statistic from freekicks, scoring just twice from 33 attempts.

However, new Real Madrid coach Zidane has reaffirmed Ronaldo will stay on as the club’s set-piece man.

“[Ronaldo] will play out wide, but he will have freedom in his movements,” Zidane said.

“And of course, he will keep taking our free-kicks.”

Zidane’s first game in charge will be against Deportivo La Coruna in the league on Saturday.
