Zidane unhappy with Real Madrid ban
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has declared himself annoyed with the transfer ban imposed on the club by FIFA.
Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were banned for 2 transfer windows for allegedly registering under 18 players, among other offences.
“It seems absurd because I’ve been here in Madrid my whole life with my family and kids,” Zidane said at a press conference.
“Everything’s going to be resolved and what’s important is to find out what’s happened. I’m sure that next week we won’t be talking about it any more.”
He added: “I feel a little annoyed, there are things that are very difficult to accept and which are absurd but I can’t let it affect me. Next week everything is going to be resolved. It doesn’t make any sense. It’s an error. What’s important now is to talk about the football.”
