Mario Gotze has revealed he will not be leaving Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
Gotze fuelled speculation linking him with a reunion with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund, when he revealed he could leave Bayern in the summer.
But the 23-year-old insists his immediate future remains at the Allianz Arena, and is relishing the opportunity to work with Carlo Ancelotti, who is due to take over from Pep Guardiola in the summer.
“I can definitely confirm that I will not be leaving the club this winter,” Gotze told SportBild. “I don’t know of any interest from Liverpool.
“I have a contract until 2017, I’m happy. But of course, what could happen beyond the summer makes you think.
“I would love to work under Carlo Ancelotti. Toni Kross has told me only good things. Under Klopp I learnt a lot. He is a smashing coach.”
