President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, January 13, defied the ‘Nigerian-Time Syndrome’ as he caught prominent members of his cabinet unawares with his arrival at the Council Chamber at exactly 9.50am for the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The President, who showed a rare attitude towards punctuality arrived the Council Chambers of the State House, venue of the meeting at 9.51am for the meeting slated at 10.00am with only 19 out of the 36 ministers seated.
President Buhari, who surprisingly said, “I came too early” then called for the recitation of the National Anthem.
Osinbajo, Chief of State, Alhaji Abba Kyari, National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno and some 19 ministers who were supposed to be seated before the president had not arrived.
Five minutes into the meeting, Osinbajo and others then arrived.
