President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, January 14 held a closed-door meeting with parents of the missing Chibok girls at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to The Nation reports, the President arrived the venue of the meeting at the old Banquet Hall of the State House at 1:45pm after ending his meeting with the visiting President of Benin Republic, Boni Yayi, in his office.
It was believed that the purpose of their visit is to inquire from him, his efforts towards finding their daughters who have now been missing for one year and 265 days.
It was learnt that pressmen were urged to leave the vicinity of the meeting when Buhari entered the hall.
The closed-door meeting is still in progress at the time of filing this report.
