Arsenal are set to offer Jack Wilshere a new deal despite the England midfielder’s struggles with injury this season.
The 24-year-old Englishman has yet to feature for Arsenal this season and he is not expected to make a comeback until February 2016.
However, the Gunners are willing to offer Wilshere new terms as he heads into the final two years of his current deal in the summer.
When asked about the potential new deal, Arsene Wenger said:
“’He has two years left and I want Jack to stay here. He is a special case because he is a special talent, he comes out of the club and he is an England international.”
