Sam Mukoro was born in Delta State, Nigeria, where he spent most of his early childhood.
His exposure to music was limited to hearing it play on their neighbour’s radio. The family eventually acquired a transistor radio which to him was great delight.
He later got involved in the music business by promoting disco shows and flirting with being a DJ in Warri.
As an undergraduate at the University of Port Harcourt, he composed the anthem for his Slate (equivalent of Political Party) which eventually won the Students Union elections.
While working as a lecturer at Auchi Polytechnic, he reinvigorated the Students Band called PM Jam. Forming a unique chemistry with his students, they performed at several concerts as their popularity soared across campuses.
He repeated the same feat at the Federal University of Technology, Akure with The Spanners.
Sam later moved to the United States of America in pursuit of his dreams.
He releases two videos titled “Stop the Violence” and “Oshevire”. Produced by Sankey Bullet and video was directed by Robert Peters.
