Wrestling icon and WWE vice-president Triple H has revealed that West Ham striker Andy Carroll would have a successful career as a wrestler.

Triple H, who was speaking with ITV, spoke on Carroll’s suitability as a WWE star, also revealed that he was a fan of West Ham.

The 13-time World Champion said: “West Ham is probably the closest to what we do, with the passion of their fanbase and their loyalty, right? That’s the closest to what we do.”

When asked which player could make a career in the WWE, he said: “Maybe a player like Andy Carroll! He is tall, likes to play it tough with the opposition and has the right looks with the long hair. He could be interesting!”

West Ham gave Triple H an official customized jersey, and in a tweet, Carroll joked (or maybe not) that he could actually take on Triple H.
