Report : Sampdoria Interested In Signing Borussia Dortmund Striker

Sampdoria could make a January move for Italy striker Ciro Immobile, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serie A side are in desperate need of a new forward and Immobile has emerged as a possible option to lead their line.

The 25-year-old, who is on a season-long loan at Sevilla from parent club Borussia Dortmund, has made only seven La Liga appearances this term and has just one league goal to his name.

Alternatively, if Sampdoria fail to lure Immobile back to Italy, they could make a move for former Sunderland man Ricky Alvarez, who is currently without a club.
