According to AS, Real Madrid are keen on Croatian starlet Ante Coric.
The La Liga giants have recruited several youngsters over the past two seasons – including the likes of Martin Odegaard, Marco Asensio and Jesus Vallejo – and playmaker Coric is the next prospect on their radar.
According to AS,Real Madrid have already contacted the player’s agent Andy Bara, while they have sent scouts to watch him in action on several occasions.
However, Madrid have not yet produced a formal offer for his services, although they are considering starting negotiations soon with the aim of finalising a deal next summer.
A number of European clubs, including Man City, Chelsea, Inter, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Porto and Barcelona, are reportedly interested in him too.
Coric, who is under contract until 2020 and valued at around €10m, has been likened to current Croatia and Real star Luka Modric in his home country.
