Manchester City are keen on 18-year-old Charlton Athletic striker Ademola Lookman, says The Daily Mail.
City are on the lookout for young English talent as they look to boost their squad and have sent scouts to watch Lookman on consecutive matchdays this season, the paper says.
It should be noted that Ademola Lookman although born In England is also available to play for Nigeria if he chooses due to his Nigerian parents.
The teenage forward only made his debut in early November but has scored three goals, including two in Charlton’s 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
Having joined Charlton’s academy last year from Lambeth-based Waterloo FC, Lookman has been fast-tracked towards the first team at the Valley.
The youngster has also been watched by Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this season but it is City who have shown most interest.
