Fury had defeated Wladimir Klitschko with a unanimous decision victory in November to win the IBF title along with the WBA and WBO titles.

The IBF withdrew Fury’s title after he refused to fight a challenger for the title, Vyacheslav Glazkov, choosing instead to participate in a rematch with Klitschko.

Fury is currently being investigated by British police for hate comments about homosexuality, which he said was one of three things needed to be accomplished “before the devil comes home”.

“One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia,” he said.

“Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?,” said Fury, who is a very religious, born-again Christian.
