Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has revealed it will be hard to leave the Vicente Calderon this summer.
The Argentinian has been linked with the Chelsea job following the departure of Jose Mourinho.
But when asked about the possibility of quitting Atleti before the ‘Special One’s’ sacking by the Blues, Simeone told El Pais: “Why can’t I be here longer?
“Why did I choose a five-year contract? Because I see a club that is ‘virgin’ and Miguel Angel [Gil Marin, the chief executive] and Enrique [Cerezo, the president] have the ability to open up new sources to strengthen in. It’s not easy to leave Atletico.”
