Alleged N13.6Bn Fraud: Dasuki, Salisu, Kusa Plead Not Guilty To 19 Charges

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday morning, arraigned ‎the former National Security Adviser, NSA, ‎Col. Sambo Dasuki, retd, before an Abuja High Court ‎sitting at Maitama over a fresh 19-count criminal charge.

DasukiDasuki was docked ‎alongside the erstwhile Director of Finance in the Office of the NSA, Mr. Shuaibu Salisu, former Executive Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Commission, NNPC, ‎Aminu Baba-Kusa, as well as his companies, Acacia Holding Limited and Reliance Referal Hospital Limited.

During the proceeding, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the 19 count charges of stealing, criminal breach of trust, misappropriation, conspiracy and diversion of public funds to the tune of over N32 billion from the national treasury.

Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf‎ adjourned till Tuesday to hear their separate applications for bail.
