The Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Mohammadu Chindo Yamusa II, is report dead.
According to Leadership reports, the monarch, who is over 70 years died peacefully in the early hours of Friday morning, December 4, in his palace in Keffi, Nasarawa state.
In a statement released by his brother, Abubakar Gada Mohammed, Dan Galadiman Keffi, it was disclosed that Yamusa II passed on around 3am after suffering from a brief illness.
Describing his death as shocking, Mohammed said that the final funeral rites and burial would take place today after Juma’at prayer in Keffi.
The monarch assumed the prestigious throne in 1978.
