As a crowning reward for the hard work put into his third studio effort, the music from multi award winning Hip Hop act and Yudala brand ambassador Naeto C’s album – The Festival – hits streets on Thursday, November 19, 2015. The artiste who has been actively under the radar for the past 3 years earlier noted that this would be his first independently released effort under his imprint “Cerious Music”, and credits his alias White Kaftan for Artiste & Repertoire on this project.
Building up to the official release date for the album, the artiste released the artwork representation of the project along with a complete list of all the tracks. The 15-track album features his first single off the album “Ati de” at the no. 1 spot, while other titles include “Gentleman”, “Langbe jina”, “Mercy” and “Ordinary”. Collaboration credits were listed for Songstress Omawumi in “Complete”, Bular in “Shake yeah” and raga dancehall sensation Cynthia Morgan with “Never forget this”; the other features listed include “Kere” with Olamide and “Helele” featuring Flavor.
The artiste served as executive producer for the entire project while production credits were given to award winning producers E-Kelly, So Sick, Tee-Y Mix and J-Sleek. More production credits were listed for Maleek Berry, J Pizzle and Black Jerzey for 3 tracks each off the album while J-Sleek and E-Kelly co-produced track 5 – “Complete” – the single featuring Omawumi. Mixing and Mastering was equally engineered by Tee-Y Mix, Maleek Berry, E-Kelly, So-Sick and Masterkraft. Award winning Suka Sounds was also credited with mixing and mastering 6 of the 15 tracks on the entire album. The cover visual was done by Offishall Designs while the photography – which features Naeto C adorned in ethnic regalia, sitting on a throne-like chair, was done at Wellbrook studios.
Naeto C was formerly signed to Storm Records 360, and known for popular hits “Kini Big Deal”, “You know my ‘P’” and “10 over 10”. A one-time Glo ambassador and host of Channel O’s 10th anniversary ceremony, the artiste has released in the past, popular titles like “I gentle” and “Tony Montana” which he also remixed featuring the Koko master, D’banj. Naeto C will embark on a nationwide tour, and subsequently headline the Industry Night as well as host fans and music lovers to a special album release party.
