Manchester United certified boring
Many have not been impressed by Manchester United’s lack of attacking play this season, and the stats show it.
Manager Louis van Gaal has often been criticized with his sideways passing style of football, with former Manchester United defender Andrei Kanchelskis calling it “disgusting” and former midfielder Paul Scholes likening it to “watching wet paint dry.”
Van Gaal has constantly denied his team play the opposite of fast-paced, attacking football, even though the stats show it.
According to Mirror, Manchester United are almost last in the league in total shots taken, with only West Brom having taking less shots.
Also, according to Squawka, the team has also created the least chances in the league, even lower than bottom side Sunderland.
Fewest chances created in the Premier League this term: Man Utd (81) Stoke (82) West Brom (83) Sunderland (87) pic.twitter.com/CvjcrwXnnH
