States In Nigeria Wanted By Biafra Agitators (List)

Hundreds of supporters of pro-Biafra groups on Thursday, November 12, marched through major streets in Owerri, Imo State and called for the release of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, the acclaimed operator of Radio Biafra.

BiafraThere have been, in recent times renewed calls for the realization of the Republic of Biafra by members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in Nigeria and outside the country.

With almost 50 years after the Biafran War (July 6, 1967 – January 15, 1970) which almost destroyed the unity of Nigeria, its agitators have refused to give up the struggle.

The Republic of Biafra is divided into four main “tribes”: the Igbos, the Ibibio-Efiks, the Ijaws and the Ogojas.

If finally granted its request, these are the States which may likely cease to be in Nigeria:

  • Abia
  • Anambra
  • Akwa Ibom
  • Bayelsa
  • Enugu
  • Ebonyi
  • Imo
  • Delta
  • Rivers
  • Cross River
  • Igbanke in Edo
  • Southern part of Benue state

    1. Foolish human being. We are trying to salvage you Ijaws as our brother yet u want to be slaves to Nigeria. Well, when we get Biafra don’t bother coming to join cos I ll be happy when Hausa will force you people to become Muslims.

  1. Nigerians must wakeup, things are very hard in Nigeria one man can not rule Nigerians, for Heaven sake’s let biafrans gain her independence before war finally hit the four parts of Nigeria. In Edo state electricity supply is 3hours of the day at night sometimes there is total blackout imagine the life we are experiencing in Edo state Nigeria, God will surely intervain for biafrans very soon.
