Spectre sets British record
Daniel Craig continues to be one of the most commercially successful 007s, as Spectre shattered box office records in Britain.
The movie grossed $63.8 million over the first week, setting a new British Box Office record for the biggest seven-day haul.
The record previously belong to 2004’s Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban, which grossed $37 million in its first week.
Spectre’s predecessor, Skyfall, grossed over 1 billion dollars internationally, and Spectre is widely expected to follow in its footsteps.
Spectre also stars Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and more, and is set to hit other international markets this month.
