According to reports from Television Espanola Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has enquired about Sevilla winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
Konoplyanka was Sevilla’s standout player during their impressive 3-2 victory over Real Madrid last weekend.
His display caught the eye of Perez, who asked a senior Sevilla figure about the Ukraine international’s release clause fee during the match.
Konoplyanka, who was previously on the radar of Liverpool, Spurs and Stoke, joined Sevilla on a four-year contract in July after the expiry of his contract at former club Dnipro.
His contract contains a €35m buyout clause.
