Pep Guardiola has already decided to leave Bayern Munich to join Manchester City at the end of the season, according to Spanish radio programme ‘El Partido de las 12’.
Guardiola’s contract at Bayern is up in June and he is set to end his three-season stay at Allianz Arena to fulfil his dream of coaching in England.
He is not allowed to formalise an agreement to join City until January 1, but El Partido de las 12 report he has informed Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, two senior figures at the Etihad Stadium, of his decision.
Bayern, meanwhile, will look to replace Guardiola with former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti. They will step up their attempts to secure the Italian once Guardiola confirms he will leave Bayern.
