Jurgen Klopp has really taken to the premiership in style. On the back of s defeat to Crystal Palace two weeks ago, Liverpool have now added Manchester City to the list of vanquished teams under Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool put in an impressive display that showed the effectiveness of the South American duo of Coutinho and Firmino as Skirtel also managed to get in on the act.

Manchester City looked to try and find an equalizer but were very suspect at the back and were cut open in the 23rd minute by some brilliant play as Firmino picked up Coutinho in the box with a sublime pass and thr former Inter man slotted the ball between the legs of a helpless Joe hart. 10 minutes later, Firmino got the goal he deserved as Coutinho squared the ball into the path of the Hoffenheim man to finish after being released by Emre Can. Manchester City finished the half the stronger side and got a goal back in the 44th minute as Aguero took advantage of a loss in concentration and fired a stunning shot past Mignolet to make it 3-1. Liverpool were very much the better side in the second half and shoud have killed the game of but for the profligacy of Firmino and Lallana as well as substitute Christian Benteke who all missed sitter during the half. Aguero also had a great chance to pull Manchester City back into the game but Mignotel made a fine save before Skrtel put the game beyond doubt in the 81st minute with s thundering volley after Benteke had won the initial header from a corner.
