Germany international, Jerome Boateng has opened up on the happenings in Paris, and has described it as the most horrible experience of his life.
It has been reported that 129 people lost their lives, with 99 in critical condition in the atrocities that happened in Paris on Friday.
Three men detonated explosive belts outside the Stade de France, where Germany and France were playing a friendly, of which Boateng played 45 minutes.
“For me, the night in Paris was the most horrible experience of my life, because we were so close [to the events],” Boateng told Kicker.
“After the first bang, I looked into the stands but there was no smoke, I wondered what that could be.
“I think the Euros will go ahead as planned in France next summer. What happened could happen anywhere.”
