10 Nigerians, led by business mogul Aliko Dangote, have been named in the Forbes 50 Richest Africans for 2015.

Aliko Dangote topped the list, a position he has held for years now, thanks to the growth of his Dangote Empire.

The next Nigerian was Globacom boss Mike Adenuga, who placed 7th with a net worth of $3.5 billion.

64-year old Mrs Folorunsho Alakija was the 3rd Nigerian on the list and also the highest ranked woman, with her oil-derived net worth put at $1.7 billion.

Other Nigerians on the list included 16th-placed Femi Otedola, 23rd placed Abdulsamad Rabiu, 30th-placed Theophilus Danjuma, and 31st placed Tony Elumelu.

The Nigerian contingent was wrapped up by 37th-placed Jim Ovia, 39th-placed Mohammed Indimi, and 49th-placed Orji Uzor Kalu.
