Two Spanish Clubs Battle For Victor Valdes

According to the Daily Star, Sevilla and Valencia are battling to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

The former Barcelona stopper has been frozen out at Old Trafford following a dispute with Louis van Gaal and is desperate to find a new club.

Reports suggest United, who are reportedly not willing to let him join a Premier League rival, could terminate his contract allowing Sevilla or Valencia to sign the 33-year-old.

It is though the La Liga clubs will start negotiations with United chief executive Ed Woodward this week with the hope of completing a deal.
