Singer, Florocka and publicly homosexual, gay rights activist Bisi Alimi argued on gay rights in Nigeria
On the 7th of January 2014, the anti-gay bill was signed into law by former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. The law states that anyone involved in a gay relationship or entering into a same-sex marriage contract or civil union faces up to 14 years in jail.
