The 5th edition of the annual Lights, Camera, Africa!!!
The International Film Festival commenced on 30th September, 2015 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Remi Vaughan-Richards’
Faaji Agba, a historical documentary on music, opened the festival.
Faaji Agba is a historical documentary on the music of Fatai Rolling Dollar, Alaba Pedro, Eji Oyewole, Shina Ayinde-Bakare, S. F. Olowookere, Samson Adegbite, Taiye Anyowale, Nureini Sunmola, Kunle Adeniran and Niyi Ajileye.
The film, which for six years, journeys with the elderly musicians between 64 and 84 years as they try to rekindle their flagging careers; supported by four younger musicians; is anchored on the efforts of Kunle Tejuoso, the proprietor of Jazzhole Records. The elderly maestros try their best possible to come back to reckoning and along the way, some of them begin their journeys to the great beyond.
